I am a geologist currently working in Papua, Indonesia after previously working in Morenci, Arizona. My main interest is the geology of copper deposits and copper minerals dominate my collection. The amazing mineral collection on display at the Seaman Mineral Museum in Houghton, Michigan gave me my start in mineralogy. I have just gotten access to a Leica EZ4D microscope and am learning how difficult it is to produce a quality mineral photomicrograph!
