Hello, and thank you for visiting my page! I am a mineral collector from South Eastern Massachusetts. I am a Christian. I first became interested in minerals in 7th grade while reading a section about minerals in a science text book. My first official collecting trip was to the Corys Lane plant fossil locality in Portsmouth, Rhode Island on Februrary 19, 2011, where I found the quartz specimen pictured below and the plant fossil (some kind of horsetail I think) at above left. I prefere field collecting specimens over purchasing them. My favorite method of collecting is dump digging at abbandoned quarry sites.

	Route 11 road cuts, Salem, New London Co., Connecticut, USA This guy didn't cause any trouble. but if you go to this locality, be on the lookout. They are quite frequently seen on the trail.

Tourmaline : A(D₃)G₆(T₆O₁₈)(BO₃)₃X₃Z
	Gillette Quarry (J-J Mine; Haddam Neck Quarry), Haddam Neck, Haddam, Middlesex Co., Connecticut, USA Tourmalines from the Gillette Quarry. They are resting on the top of a white flat lid that is about 27cm across which makes the longest tourmaline ~18cm long.

	White Rock Quarry, Horsnell Gully, South Mt Lofty Ranges (Adelaide Hills), Mt Lofty Ranges, South Australia, Australia A very fine and perfectly formed double terminated Quartz crystal from the famous White Rock Quarry in the Adelaide Hills. There is no damage to this piece, and it measures 85mm x 10mm in size.

	Little Gem Mine, Boulder Batholith, Jefferson Co., Montana, USA Well-terminated epidote cluster from the Little Gem Mine. Collected in 2011 by Kent Schul who collects with the current mine owner.
