Minerals have been a part of my life for my whole life. The earliest, documented, extant, self-collected specimen was collected at the age of four. I no longer have or can document an earlier specimen.
Another of my passions is photography and despite having a number of photos published, including journal/magazine covers (not all mineralogical), I have only in the last year or two begun to take it more seriously as a career option after having spent 20 years in gem & mineral museums, mostly in curatorial positions.
I plan to put my new mineral photography up for others to enjoy and/or learn from. I hope to document what I can of my collection and collecting projects that I am involved with, and place emphasis on minerals and localities not already covered.
