Chlorite Group
Haramosh Mts., Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan
5.9 x 1.7 x 1.7 cm. This is a bizarre quartz floater crystal with the normal quartz form at one end, but then tapering down to a pointy termination at the other end. The crystal gets its green color from inclusions of chlorite. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.

Antany, Ambaribe, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
From a locality not yet well known by mineral collectors, the crystal presents a very curious flattened morphology, where two parallel prism faces have virtually disappeared. We would like to call your attention on the extraordinary transparency and the attractive distribution of intense violet cloudy forms inside the specimen.

Henrique Persequini's Blog
A blog is a series of personal articles recorded in date-order somewhat like diary entries. You can use your blog to keep track of your collecting adventures, your purchases, your thoughts and ideas, anything that you think other mindat.org members would be interested to read about. Other members can leave comments after your blog entry, but you can delete any comments you find inappropriate.
Henrique Persequini's Articles
Articles are pages created by you to share with other mindat.org users. These may be serious (a formal scientific article) or personal (you could write an article about your collecting adventures, or about your artistic creations). You can work on your articles in private until you are ready to publish them. The best articles will be promoted throughout the site.
Unlike Blog Entries, you can continue to edit your articles if they have been published (should you find new information, for example).
Henrique Persequini's Photos
You can use this search form to find photos in Henrique's photo gallery. Mineral, locality and other photos are shown together unless you specify the type of photo. The default order is to show the most recent photos first, but again you can change this.
