My name is Rafael Munoz Alvarado, I am 38 years old and live in Alcácer, Valencia (Spain). I collect minerals from the 10 years. I started looking for rocks in the rail for college and since then I have not ceased my search. My collection is mostly in basa mineralogy Spanish, but I like both minerals that collect specimens from around the world, both micro and macro. The systematic is my main entertainment. At present (May 2008) my collection has more than 4,500 copies worldwide. I love to go personally to look for mines, quarries, etc.. But also counting on a lot of pieces exchanged with other collectors. I count on the support and help of my wife, who also loves to go mine. Between the two we are getting a very entertaining collection with many pieces caught together.

Jenaro Gil is my lifelong friend as a child. Both we started in the minerals when we were going to school and then we have come together many Spaniards deposits. At the present time is devoted to collecting more quartz, especially hyacinth Compostela.
My great friend and colleague of mine is Honorio Cocera. We have more than 10 years together looking for minerals throughout Spain. In my home page also put photos of his collection made by him and that is a super photographer minerals.
