A complex and colorful combination of tourmalines rest partially within quartz and is from the Sapucaia Mine, in Brazil. An aesthetic and well formed smoky quartz (nearly citrine in some lights) crystal acts as a host for mulitple beautifully colored and doubly terminated elbaite tourmaline pirsms. The main tourmaline crystal has a rich red termination with stripes and zones of multiple colors. Smaller tourmalines decorate other areas of the quartz in a variety of colors ranging from a light opaque pink to light blue and gemmy bright greens. This is a nice cabinet piece in good condition overall with minor areas of bruising. The bottom of the piece is off of the rock
