“A ca 1.5 cm thick layer made of sharp molybdenite crystals with a 4 cm cluster of Arsenopyrite cristal laying on; also associated is a small black somewhat tetragonal crystal of a yet unidentified mineral (possibly Sphalerite or Stannite) (overall 6 x 6 x 2 cm). A quite unique specimen, said to be recently (2018-19) mined for Inner Mongolia. The thick layer of Molybdenite crystals suggests a vein deposit origin, not from a skarn one. Discussions with Bert Ottens suggested that these specimens could come from the Hashitu Mo deposit, Linxi Co., Ulanhad League (Chifeng Prefecture) (see: Miner Deposita, DOI 10.1007/s00126-017-0745-5) or, although this sounds less likely, from the Weilasituo Ag-polymetallic deposit near Bairendaba (Hexigten Banner (Keshiketeng Co.), Ulanhad League (Chifeng Prefecture)).
