“4 mm yellow quartz crystal with inclusions of elongated crystals, probably cerussite. Specimen was treated with "Iron Out" to ensure that the yellow color is the true color, and not an iron oxide surface stain. Although iron-stained crystals are common at the locality, this is a true yellow crystal of quartz (or citrine), as first reported by Hitchcock (1822 and 1835). P. Cristofono specimen and photo, field collected 2004. ”
