A reddish brown-colored vesuvianite crystal with the first-order prism face (yellow in the child image [110]) and the second-order dipyramid faces (in blue [101]). The second-order prism faces, i.e. those in the plane perpendicular to the observer, are also noted (in orange [100]), less developed than the previous one. On both the right and left sides of the prism there are the faces of the diatragonal prism (in green, perhaps [310], with non-equal development. Finally, above the prism, you can see a small face of ditetragonal bipyramid (sky blue, [211]). This vesuvianite crystal has grown on numerous crystals of creamy-yellow, transparent grossular.
