Textbook perfect, sharp Sphalerite crystal perched on Dolomite with a small bit of Chalcopyrite. The main Sphalerite crystal is complete all around, perfectly undamaged and has the silky luster that is typical from this locale. Through the 1960's, Tri-state specimens were very common even as the mines closed. These are no longer common and are unlike any other Sphalerites from other locales.
