Intergrown clusters of scalenohedrons of Calcites are interspersed on limonitic matrix. The Calcites, up to 16 x 12 mm, have superb luster and translucence. The quality and aesthetics of this specimen is exceptional, and is much better than the photos illustrate. Specimens from this now closed Arizona mine are difficult to find.ex. Bob Griffis collection
