3.5x2.5x2 cm fragment of unusually large for the specie prismatic crystal of dark bottle-green Ekanite with composition (Ca1.47Na0.32K0.23)2.02(Th0.73U0.25)0.98[Si8O19.41(OH)0.59]. Associating minerals are white Wollastonite and massive more light-green Diopside, which is coarse-granular and not so lustrous as Ekanite. Also some of minute Graphite presents. Apparently host rock is calcian skarn. Specimen size is 6.5x5.5x4 cm, its weight is 129 g and radioactivity - 1440 μR/h. Specimen obtained from Sieghard Ellenberger (Crystal-Treasure). Pavel M.
