Calcite with Marcasite inclusions
As recorded:
Mid-Continent mine, Treece, Kansas, USA
110mm x 60mm x 30mm
A grouping of transparent colorless rhombohedral calcite crystals. This is cleaved on the bottom and backside. The piece has been dipped in acid to bring out the luster not atypical of specimens found in the late 1960s. Marcasite inclusions throughout.
