Tantalite-(Mn) in Quartz

Blocky, deep red, 1cm crystal of Tantalite-(Mn) contrasting beautifully against a clean white quartz matrix. The tantalite shows sharp crystal faces, one with striations, and deep internal reflections combined with a sub-metallic lustre give a most attractive sheen to the colour. There is a very small scuff on one corner but the tantalite is otherwise damage freee and shows excellent crystal form. Excellent example, showy and aesthetic. Displays best supported.
