Druse with Rhodochrosite crystals formed by a prism with rhombohedral terminal faces and where two different growth phases can be clearly seen, an inner first one (perhaps Calcite further replaced by Rhodochrosite) that is translucent and with a more intense color, and a second one with a lighter pink color. The sample, from a classic US locality, shows on its lower edge small Pyrite crystals.Emma Mine, Butte, Butte District, Silver Bow County, Montana, USASpecimen size: 9 × 5.2 × 3.4 cm = 3.5” × 2.0” × 1.3”Main crystal size: 0.9 × 0.5 cm = 0.4” × 0.2”MX49AJ1
