“3.4 x 3.1 x 2.2 cm. Water-clear, colorless, very glassy gem-like elongated baryte crystals cover the mounded oxide-tinted baryte matrix on this rare and impressive 360-degree miniature from this old baryte mine that closed in 1944. These were called "glass tiff" and many of the crystals are doubly terminated, reaching 9 mm. Choice material from a limited 1995 find. Ex Ted Bartels Collection.
