I was told this was from a new find, in approximately 2018. This Tourmaline crystal has been sight-identified as Liddicoatite (hence, likely Fluor-liddicoatite) by Dr. Federico Pezzotta, but not lab analyzed, so it is posted it as Tourmaline. Dr. Pezzota also confirmed the locality. Because of its transparency, you can see (especially in the red areas) the typical Liddicoatite zoning usually observed by slicing and polishing. I love this specimen because you can easily see the zoning without having to cut it. Obtained from Nick Solowitz in Tucson, Feb. 2019. Photograph by Jeff Scovil, posted with his permission.
