“This specimen was collected around June of 1998 a couple of months before the discovery of the Red Phantom Pocket. This was a walk-in pocket in Stope 73C28 bottom; Pillar 4203. Miners had little interest in collecting the specimens, according to Larry Nuelle, who recovered specimens from the pocket. The specimens are interesting because they are more heavily included or replaced by dickite than others I have seen. This particular crystal is probably over 80% dickite and is very light and porous. In the same stope, at least one other pocket was found in Pillar 2145 where the calcites were more typical. ”
