The left baddeleyite crystal exhibits a typical type of twinning for this species and the right one has a tapered termination. The color is yellow. These crystals are grown on white crystals of a mineral belonging to sodalite group, on which minutes, colorless, sharp crystals of sanidine are grown. Collection and photo of Gianfranco Ciccolini.
