“Fluorite floater (23,0cm x 20,0cm)
Mario Pauwels collection , Joaquim Callén photo.
Unusual shaped, very intense zone colored and hollow Fluorite 'skull'. The contrasting darker interior of each slightly modified Fluorite cube is the result of the growing process of multiple sharply defined phantoms which creates color layers inside the crystals. These phantoms shifted exactly 45 degrees what creates the remarkable, unusual and pleasant optical effect and color contrast.
There is totaly no matrix on this specimen, what makes that this entire aggregate of partially modified cubes is completely transparent. This larger specimen is also in a outstanding condition. The picture was taken with a little more back light and less front lighting.
