“This is the largest of the Japan Law Twins to come from this new find in Zambia.
It stands 200mm tall and is 190mm wide and the matrix is 100mm deep, the crystal itself is 28mm thick. The colour is quite intense. The right hand crystal is damaged due to contact and poor collecting as is the tip of the top edge of the left hand crystal.
It is still a very impressive display peice.
Specimen Peter Beckwith & photo Gary Sutherland.”
