Tabular crystals, thin, with development of ample pinacoid {010}, of 'heulandite', grown on quartz, chalcedony variety. See Atlas der Krystallformen, Vol. IV, Plate 89, Figure 45, although the crystal shown here is thicker. This so tabular dress is unusual for the heulandite, so much so that such crystals were put on the market as levyne. See "Minerals of the Deccan Traps, India". - written by Berthold Ottens, published by The Mineralogical Record 1/2003. To note, then, the twinning, better visible in the crystals on the left of the one in the center of the photo, with {100} as twin and contact plane. Here, seen from the opposite side.
