Chartreuse green plates of volborthite with darker green malachite spheres on a matrix of claylike sandstone. The plates of volborthite are extremely thin, probably about 1-2μm. I obtained this specimen from Jim McEwen of Lehigh Minerals.

Intergrown plates of pistachio green Volborthite on a matrix claylike sandstone. The plates of Volborthite are extremely thin, probably about 1-2μm. I obtained this specimen from Jim McEwen of Lehigh Minerals.
