Description
Translucent and lustrous spheroidal aggregates with a pale bluish green color of Cuprodongchuanite, a rare phosphate of lead, copper and zinc, discovered very recently and approved by the IMA as a new species in 2021. On matrix, accompanied by numerous Veszelyite crystals, very sharp and deep blue. The specimen is from the type locality for the species. Sanguozhuang, Dongchuan District, Kunming Prefecture, Yunnan Province  China (12/2021) Specimen size: 3.5 × 3.1 × 1.6 cm = 1.38” × 1.22” × 0.63” Main crystal size: 0.1 × 0.1 cm = 0.04” × 0.04”
