Description
Aggregate of Azurite crystals that have an unusual morphology for the locality. They are blocky, very large and have a very good crystalline development. They are partially coated, and in some areas pseudomorphed, by Malachite. On the back on the sample there are vivid blue, roughly defined, Azurite crystals typical of Bou-Bekker, this fact proving its source. Bou Bekker, Touissit District, Jerada Province, Oriental Region  Morocco Specimen size: 7.8 × 6 × 4.5 cm = 3.07” × 2.36” × 1.77” Main crystal size: 5.2 × 3.7 cm = 2.05” × 1.46”
