A group of brown (daylight) Pyromorphite crystals to 1 cm. in length forming a cluster, fluorescing under Mid-Range Ultraviolet Light. The fluorescence in this specimen is noticably brighest under midwave U.V., and fluoresces in a particularily attractive shade of butter-orange, with zoning parallel to the crystals.

A Pyromorphite crystal cluster composed of tree-like aggregates and groups of parallel crystals forming a sort of "floater" group composed entirely of crystallized pyromorphite. This photo was taken under Shortwave Ultraviolet light, and shows the varied, zoned fluorescent response of the pyromorphite. Largest crystals approx. 1.2 cm. long. Philip M. Persson Collection; Acquired Winter 2004.
