“I have never seen a Namibian tourmaline quite like this: a sceptered quartz crystal is growing right off its side! In fact, the tourmaline altered its form as it grew around the stalk of this scepter, having its growth blocked in the area of the quartz and then continuing its growth to form three separate terminations at the top (two of them are complete and one is a contact). Typical of many tourmalines from this locality, it is no match in gemminess for a good Brazilian one, but as a unique locality piece it is really something! 5 x 3.5 x 2 cm”
