This is a rough sample of natural unheated RED carnelian. The dark parts are actually pure cherry red. It is the best and most intense red color of a natural carnelian, which i ever saw. The specimen has a colorless very transparent core, which lets the light go deep into the specimen and causes in this way the dramatic glowing effect.
