We had tools available for sale during registration for those who didn't want to bring their own collecting equipment.

At 7pm we held an informal introduction party in the town hall (Rathaus).

The party begins

The Rathaus dates back to 1217 (although parts of it have been rebuilt over the years, especially after damage in World War II)

Not everyone has registered today, there will be more people joining throughout the week, and a few people missed out on the party to recover from their travelling.

But those who stayed until 10pm were able to get the bus back to their hotels.

although some people were having far too much fun to leave on the bus, and stayed for a later taxi.
