Changsha Show - next week

Last Updated: 5th May 2013

By Jolyon & Katya Ralph

Coming soon... the Changsha Mineral and Gem Show

Billed to be the biggest mineral event ever in Asia, the organizers of the Changsha show have been working hard now for a very long time to build what they call "the Tucson of the East".

I'm delighted that the organizers of the show have invited my wife and I over to this very special event to represent mindat.org.

The show will be spread over two floors, as the following diagrams show:

This comes at an excellent time, as we will be unveiling at the show the Chinese-language version of mindat.org. Initially restricted to home page, login and registration, the aim is to add full Chinese language support (and eventually other languages too) to help mindat.org become usable for the billion+ people who speak Chinese as their first language.

A full report of the show will be posted to mindat.org once we return!
