NEW! Mindat Show Special magazine to be launched

Last Updated: 6th Dec 2013

By Jolyon & Katya Ralph

Mindat Show Special magazine to be launched at Tucson 2014

Mindat.org are proud to announce that we will be launching a FREE magazine at Tucson in Feb 2014 to be given away at major gem and mineral venues throughout the show.

Our first issue, for Tucson, will match the theme of the TGMS 2014 show - Precious Elements - Silver, Gold and Diamond.

We aim to publish two issues per year, for Tucson and Denver/Munich

4000 paper copies of the magazine will be printed for free distribution. Some will be held back so that people who don’t attend Tucson can order a copy, but it will also be available for FREE as a PDF download.

As you know, we love to do things for free. But to do so we need your help.

How can you help? Simple

I want to help by writing an article!

Thank you! We need your help!

We really would like to talk to you now if you're able to provide original articles related to the topic of the issue - especially if you can provide a GREAT gold article.

If you can do this and have it ready before Jan 1st, then please contact jolyon@mindat.org as soon as possible.

We can't promise fortune, but fame is certainly on offer. As well as the warm feeling you get in helping mindat.org to keep running.

I want to advertise!

We are aiming to offset the production and distribution costs via advertising.

Full page ads are 8.35 inches tall and 5.35 inches wide and are $400 per page.
We also have a limited number of double page ads can be purchased at the discount rate of $750.

Promote your website, upcoming mineral shows, or simply provide the impact that makes your brandso distinguishable. Plus, enjoy the extra benefit of having live embedded links on your ad within the PDF that is freely distributed across the internet.

Ads and ad material should be submitted at 300 dpi CMYK.

For user submitted ads, provide a quarter inch bleed zone around the outside edge of the ad and ensure that the text has ample padding away from the outside border of the page. If you need any guidance, we are happy to assist you, simply email jolyon@mindat.org

Ad Reservations should be made ASAP - DEADLINE for submission is January 1st 2014

I want to subscribe/order a copy!

We will have information on how to order individual copies, multiple copies (eg for your club) or a subscription (two issues per year) in January. Of course, you will be able to download the PDF version for free, but for those who want a paper edition, these will be available while stocks last for a small donation to include cost of shipping.

Article has been viewed at least 16214 times.

OK, it's January. How do we order a copy?
Thanks
