Roman's first show report - Munich 2014

Roman has visited his very first mineral show and wanted to share some of his experiences

The first person I met in the show was Dona Leicht of Kristalle...

but then Lois at Kristalle tried to bribe me with chocolate gold coins.

Mummy, I've got teeth now, can I have one please?

Next stop Wendel Minerals to learn all about European classic minerals.

Nice malachite!

Ludmilla at Mineralogical Almanac telling me about Russian mineral localities.

Mineral Up magazine, too many too choose from. Luckily I think Dad already has them all!

This year's theme is 'Meteorites'. I wanted to examine this one a little closer.

Alfredo Petrov helped explain the zoning in this ametrine slice from Bolivia.

And this Spanish variscite was worth further study.

Both mummy and I were impressed by Mineral Classics' gem minerals.

This large iron-coated quartz was interesting too.

In fact, I was so excited looking at minerals that I didn't notice something creeping up on me...

Roman says he really enjoyed his first mineral show - he met lots of new friends and can't wait to see you all in Tucson!

Hi to everybody!
But...I was there on Saturday and I didn't see you! I would havew seen Roman very very willingly! I got to Tomek and Asia and saw Luda, Terry and Marie! But... I couldn't see you! I got there by train (night train, direct connection from Milan to Munich!). Ok, if you have a plan to come to Italy (even in the future, never say never!), my invitation is always valid and you just have to let me know.
Greetings to everybody from Italy by Riccardo!
