Right now I'm waiting for the first presentation on Precambrian Evolution and Mineral resources of the Mid-continent rift. And waiting here with me is mindat.org regular Paul Brandes.

The event guide. This place is big.

I'll show some of the sessions on today and drop into a few.

Presentation on new geochronologica constraints on the formation and hydrothermal enrichment of the Bokan mountain peralkaline complex

Dikes crossing the aegirie granite boundary

Dotson zone dike appearance

Replacements of what was probably an amphibole

Hydrothermal zircon used gorvgeochronolgy - which apparently causes big problems

Geochronology sample locations.
