Arsenic in all his states !

[1]Since this week, a new exposition at the Tellure parc near Sainte Marie aux mines has started.
Arsenic in all his states
A mortal exhibition, dare to discover it!
Free access until november 4th, 2018.

On front right, Native arsenids arround the world.
On the right a theme on Gabe-Gottes, St-Jacques vein, the only mine in the world exploited only for arsenic until 1940 (1823-1833, 1897-1907, 1932-1940)
On the left, the theme is the use of arsenic.

The use of arsenic over the time; wallpaper, draperies, painting (verft, red and yellow) medicines and miracle cures! Imagine that even a confectioner had the idea to add arsenic (copper arsenite) in the candy to color it green !!
