Radyne Corporation

Crystals and Growing Equipment cubic zirconia, quartz, monocrystalline silicon crystal for photovoltaic cells, sapphire for bullet proof glass and other applications. Crystalline Material Production processes typically involve heating a susceptor material such as Graphite, Molybdimum, Tungsten or Silicon Carbide that is placed in a controlled inert atmosphere or vacuum chamber. Heat cycles are continuous and tightly controlled over the production cycle.

Critical to the process is the precise control of power to the susceptor. Radyne makes a range of power supplies that incorporate special controls to ensure accurate delivery of power to the load. Radyne additionally provides restart electronics such that a crystal growing process can resume following a power outage. Due to the temperature ranges of the susceptor materials used in various applications, coil design and frequency selection is critical to achieve the desired results. Radyne brings a wealth of tools and experience in modeling susceptor heating to ensure that you get the heating you need where your process needs it. Radyne also provides multi-zone heating systems to provide specialty temperature profiles for varying applications.
