Dear Mr. Pavel M.Kartashov,

I'm writing to you from Mongolia. I have seen your mineral photos of REE bearing rocks for last 3 years on mindat.org. (Thanks to mindat.org very much!) . The photos and minerals are so exciting!

I'm a geologist founder of Geo-Info LLC, Mongolia (www.geo-info.mn). my company conducts geological work on the Ulaan del area (just next to Shar Tolgoi - Zr-REE). The project is 100km N of Halzan Buregtei. The problem is we do not recognize REE bearing minerals and can not identify them though the content of REE is very high for some rock chips associated with high-medium Zr grade. We do recognize the only purple-lilac fluorite and guessing that related or/and itself or the indication of REE minerals. So, what would you recommend me what type of analyses i must do and how to recognize the minerals in field. Yes, I do understand that sounds strange, but you have traveled and seen a lot around the world, visiting Mongolia too.

Fluorite, apatite (few), xenotime, sinchysite (Ce), zircon identified in Japan and Finland. for the others, under the question mark.

If you interested visiting the project any time when you're able please let me know! I'm appreciate it very much!

Best wishes,

Oyunbat
