"New Home for Gems & Minerals at the Museum of Natural History"
It's to open in 2019 as the "Allison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals". Shown is a rendering of a new large gallery of fluorescent & phosphorescent minerals. Also, the famous "Subway Garnet" from Manhattan will likely be back on display. All good news, since it's looked to me like the mineral collection has been the poor stepchild there for many years.
