Identity HelpPlease ID - Garnets?

6th Apr 2012 19:57 UTCClaire Brimson

Hei.

Please, are these Garnets? I found them in Helsinki on a beach of pink granite rock. I don't know if the granite was put there or if it is locally there although there is pink granite in bed rock as Ive seen it in the rounded cliffs there.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Claire
