Identity HelpAmethyst crystals - locality needed

Attached is a photo of an 5.5-cm-wide cluster of amethyst crystals. Came from an old collection, the owner passed away and there is no label, I suspect it is from North or South Carolina. Would like to nail down a locality so the photo can go to mindat gallery and the eventual owner can appreciate where it is from.

Harold, this appears to be from the Reel Mine in NC. Collected there many years ago and it is the typical looking matrix.

Thanks, I posted the photo to the locality page, looks reasonably similar to others from there.
