Thanks Marco !

All new minerals entered into the database.

Is piccoliite maybe the same as the "Unnamed (Ca-Na-Mn Arsenate)", https://www.mindat.org/min-38806.html ?

14th Jun 2017 15:21 UTCUwe Kolitsch Manager

Yes, now changed to synonym.

Please note: There is a mistake in NL37. IMA 2017-010 levantite; the TL is not MSH. It is the Hatrirum Formation in Israel.

In the IMA newsletter revised formulas are given for Hellandite-(Y) and Hellandite(Ce) because the position partly occupied by Be and Li has been found to be more than 50% vacant. Thus the revised formula contains a squere which I have been unable to enter into a revised formula for these minerals in Mindat. Could one of the other managers help correcting the formulas for these two minerals in Mindat to be in compliance with the last IMA newsletter information?

Now that chlorellestadite is a valid mineral, has anyone revisited the "chlorellestadite" from Crestmore, California (and elsewhere) to determine what they are?

15th Jun 2017 21:54 UTCUwe Kolitsch Manager

Knut: [ + ] works (have fixed hellandite-(Y)).

Dagenaisite is apparently identical to https://www.mindat.org/min-40390.html from the same locality, right?

21st Jun 2017 09:39 UTCMarco E. Ciriotti Manager

Yes, Lefteris. This is so.

21st Jun 2017 18:19 UTCUwe Kolitsch Manager

Fixed.
