Mineral question

My question is what type of igneous rock would you expect to find the mineral forsterte in???

likely peridotite or kimberlite.
not sure if those are igneous,
forsterite is a variety of peridot, so it would go hand and hand.
monzonite has some olivine many rocks do its as simple as checking resources

Forsterite is a member of the Olivine Group in the Fayalite - Forseterite Series.
It occurs mainly in basic or ultrabasic rocks.
Its type locality is Mont Somma, Vesuvius, Campania, Italy.
