GeneralStuttgart mineral museum

I'm going to visit Stuttgart next weekend, and would like to know some feedback on the mineral collection of the Stuttgart State Museum of Natural History. Is it worth a visit? I could not find any pictures of the collection…
Is this the only museum with minerals in Stuttgart?
Are there any mineral shops in town?
Best regards, Luís.

I've been there with a similar question three weeks ago - the Museum am Lowentor has an amazing exposition of Jurassic marine life, especially Ichtiosaurus sp. However, as the guides told me - their mineral collection is not on display. What you can see are mostly fossils, some sedimentary minerals (though nice ones, such as a marcasite below) and a nice room with ember with inclusions.
Good luck,
Kirill

the Stuttgart museum of Nature has a great paleontologic exhibition, as Kirill already stated, and also an amber collection which is well woth seeing. But the mineral collection is not publicly available. It is a great pity. The former small mineral museum of the University is also closed and all specimen were in the meantime transfered to the museum of nature.
This are bad news, but we have to live with them.
Regards
Joachim
