GeneralHelp confirming Nevada (or is it California?) locality

I purchased this specimen at the Tucson Show labelled Andradite from Cowboy Mine, Nevada. The specimen appears to have epidote

But on Mindat epidote is not listed from this locality. To me it looks very similar to specimens from this California locality which does have epidote although the specimens are all grossular https://www.mindat.org/gallery.php?loc=192754&min=1755

Has anyone any advice about how to designate this specimen. My instinct is to go with the label and add epidote to the minerals from the Nevada locality

Thank you

I have found epidote and quartz there - similar to what you are showing. Scheelite also, but they are just grains in the matrix

Thank you Rory... that settles it then for me.

My personal experience is that grossular garnet and epidote are often found together in the same formation, because of similar chemistry (Calcium, aluminum and silica) but the experts will know more about this than I do.

Thanks fro your response Matt. Yes I have been shown proof that epidote is definitely found at this locality with Andradite
