Is there a way to enter a photo of an unknown mineral under "Other Photos" and then to enter it's EDS graph as an additional photo?

Thanks.

Yes. Add the EDS graph as a child photo, using the category Other Photo / Analytical Data.

Thanks Uwe, this works if my mineral photo is identified, but when using the "Other Photo" to first enter the photo of the unidentified mineral there is no longer an "Add another Photo" option available.

Are you uploading them under the other photo tab and then the 'type of photo' as unidentified from the drop down menu? I have child photos attached to mine loaded this way.

Yes Debbie, it sounds like I'm doing just as you do. Once the photo is uploaded and I click on the photo it has "View Jerry Cone's Photos", Edit this Photo", Add Comments", Add to Favourites" and "Download this Image" as options at the bottom of the screen. When I enter a mineral photo I have the option of "Add Another Photo", but not when it's an "Other" upload. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for clarifying Jerry. Have you uploaded the photo of the unidentified mineral yet ? If you have done that can you provide a link to it please. If not can you upload then when that's done click the edit this photo as the upload form has a link to add another photo/child.

The uploaded photo has photo id of 818467. I want to add the EDS graph as a child photo. Temporarily I uploaded it separately as photo id 818468, but I could delete it when I figure out how to do it properly. Thanks again for your help Debbie.

I've fixed this, the EDS photo is now linked to the parent. I also removed the info relating to the linked photo as now redundant, editing the description would normally be done by the member and then it goes back to the approval queue for a manager to confirm but I did it so that we didn't duplicate the work.

For future reference here's a screenshot of where on the upload form you will see a link to add another photo of the specimen.

Thanks Debbie, for fixing this one and showing me how to do another (which I just did). Friends tell me I have rocks in my head, they may be right. It certainly wasn't hard to do. I really appreciate your help.
