GeneralNeed help with an old label

This is a label (1910-1920) from a real impressive (and I don`t use this word too often) specimen of Sb-bearing gersdorffite from here:https://www.mindat.org/loc-46517.html (no its not on any pic at mindat). Its so unique of a kind that I wrote an articel about it (which will be published next year).

The only problem is, I don`t know who owned it!

Checked most of the archive of the minrec, spoke to several experts here in Austria. All have seen such significant labels before but noone knew something about the writer. My guess would be its from a classic collection in the vicinity of Hüttenberg, Carinthia.

Chances are low but maybe someone knows it here? Thanks.

Christian, I cannot help but suggest you contact someone at the Mineralogical Record as the magazine had an issue on old labels.

Thank you Tony, I have already checked their archive at https://mineralogicalrecord.com/labelarchive.asp and watched all entries with a German sounding name. Without any success.

I have heard a long time ago that a collector in Vienna, Mr.Otto Fitz whom I met once wrote also a paper about old (Austrian?) collections. Anyone familiar with that paper?

Is this the paper: Eine Sammlung erzählt / Beitrag zu Inhalt und Geschichte der Mineralien- und Gesteinssammlung an der Abteilung Baugeologie des Institutes für Bodenforschung und Baugeologie, Universität für Bodenkultur Wien.

Great Kevin, that`s it and - shame on me - our Survey where I`m working has it even online.

A great work and if you know a bit German worth reading. Unfortunately my label isn`t included.

No worries, I was glad to be of help (even though your label wasn't identified).
