Monday Feb 11 is also the day of the Tsumeb Forum @ Elks Lodge (by invitation only).

Maybe we could ask Bruce if he is OK with it to have the Mindat meeting there as well?

Tony, I’ll be set up at the Tucson New Mineral Show on W. Grant Road from the 5-11, and then then the Main TGMS Show the 14-17.

The Mindat party will be held on WEDNESDAY 13th Feb 6pm-8pm at Ray Hill's Mineral Maniacs Mansion: 5325 E Lester Place, Tucson AZ.

Informal meetup no formal presentations or speeches, just a chance to meet me and other mindat people in a relaxed setting and chat/complain/ask whatever you wish! Light refreshments and hopefully no rain.

Ray tells me I should ask people to 'bring a chair' because obviously we all bring chairs with us. But if by some reason you travel with your own furniture please bring.

I know this isn't really the place for these questions, but.... in years past, at least one show-attendee has posted an ongoing report on the Tucson show. I don't see one so far this year (maybe no one has started to yet?). I would have started a separate thread asking about this, but I see no way to start one, and I can't seem to access the Mindat manual for help. No big rush for answers, I'll live. For those lucky enough to attend the show, enjoy; don't think I'll ever make it back out that way.
