This photo photo ( is listed as beryllite from Kvanefjeld, but I think it is pectolite. Beryllite is a secondary mineral and is directly associated with chkalovite and tugtupite, or found as spheres in cavities when the primary beryllium minerals are completely replaced. The white material in the centre of the photo which is out of focus, could be beryllite. The radiating spheres embedded in albite that I have analysed from this locality have all been pectolite, and they look exactly like those in this photo. Furthermore, the pectolite spheres are much larger than the beryllites.
