Albite a mineral commonly associated with alpine mineralization. In this case, the crystals of Albite have formed as an early stage in hydrothermal mineralized fractures associated with rapid pressure release and brecciation in Mudstones-siltstone-sandstone in the mid-Wales Orefield. This specimen is from the Daren Mine, Pen-bont Rhydybeddau, Wales, fov ~3mm.

A combination of red Carminite with inky blue Covelline I have not seen before from the Penberthy Croft Mine, with white-colourless Mimetite and Anglesite, also on the specimen are minute yellow cubic crystals of Pharmacosiderite which have formed on the Carminite, quite late in the paragenesis but before the Covelline. The Carminite also displaying excellent crystal form, but small.
