Building a Dam

Coker Creek District, Monroe Co., Tennessee, USA

In order to operate a gold pan, a shallow water filled hole is necessary. This can be accomplished by raising the water level in the water source with stones and forming a small dam.

Quartz Outcropping Above the Creek

Coker Creek, Coker Creek District, Monroe Co., Tennessee, USA
