Fluorite on dolomite, Monticello, Kentucky. Specimen is approx. 2x1x1 inches. Fluorite cube is approx. 0.5 inches across and is pale lilac-colored. Limestone matrix.

YY3-43YBaryte, Calcite, Quartz

Kings Mountain, Lincoln Co., Kentucky, USA

Dimensions: 4 inches x 4 inches x 3 inches

Specimen is approx. 4x4x3 inches. Barite(?) and calcite (golden) in quartz geode. Not certain of all mineral species. Dolomite and a few other minerals are also found in the geodes at this location. The quartz is often a pale lilac color.

East Faircloth, Faircloth Veins, Mundy's Landing, Woodford Co., Kentucky, USA

Dimensions: 4 inches x 6 inches x 2 inches

Fluorite on barite and calcite (calcite not visible in this shot). Approx. 4x6x2 inches. Collected c1989-1993. Location has been CLOSED for many years. Bill McKenzie gets all the credit for finding this location.
